Access a diverse range of multi asset solutions to meet distinct needs

At Fidelity, we have been managing multi asset portfolios on behalf of our clients since the 1980s. Over the years, our Multi Asset investment team has grown significantly, building on our expertise in manager research and macroeconomic analysis.

Today, we are proud to offer a diverse range of well-established solutions, each designed to meet a variety of needs in a robust and repeatable way that can be relied upon over the longer-term.

-

Significant depth and breadth

Our Multi Asset team is able to pull on a deep knowledge of markets, asset class behaviours, risk and macroeconomic drivers to meet a range of requirements and build robust solutions.

-

Research edge

Covering different asset classes, regions and sectors, we consider manager research, quantitative data and macroeconomic analysis. Research inputs foster debate and investment decision making.

Our Multi Asset solutions are designed to bring together expertise from around our business, covering different asset classes, sectors and macroeconomic disciplines. Our global platform provides research and market insights to inform our process, ensuring that our solutions can deliver the outcomes you require.

We place our capital market assumptions (CMAs) at the core of our process. Driven by our macroeconomic views, our CMAs are based on quantitative models and project a pathway for a range of asset classes in current and potential future conditions. Our CMAs are regularly reviewed and are constantly evolving to incorporate new research and market insights. These CMAs are combined with a diverse range of other inputs - such as bottom-up insights from Fidelity’s analyst team - to generate the ideas that inform asset allocation decisions.

Making sure that we are accessing markets as efficiently as possible, we use a range of instruments to construct the final portfolios, covering both active and passive strategies. Allocations are guided according to the overarching CMAs and targets of each solution, while remaining within our risk framework. We build our solutions taking risk intelligently and consciously, utilising consistent frameworks to identify uncorrelated sources of risk, return and yield in a robust and repeatable way.
